SCHOOLS AND KINDERGARTENS

The problem of lack of capacity in kindergartens troubles young parents and responsible officials. But there is a simple solution that is used in advanced countries - the portable kindergartens which are built up from spatial modules.

The main reason, why people stick at the building up of the new capacity of kindergartens, is an anxiety about what to do with a new kindergarten when "babyboom" pass over. But there is a simple solution that works reliably to the west of our borders and that is the portable kindergartens building up by using the system of spatial modulation. Modular / portable kindergarten is built up there where is the lack of capacity and when the occupancy is over, the building or its part is simply moved on the place, where children are enough, or is sold for other purposes unrelated to the land on which the building stands.

Modular schools and kindergartens

Modular schools and kindergartens are common in advanced countries worldwide. In northern countries is a rental of these portable schools and kindergartens also current. Investors mainly appreciate lower cost, excellent thermal-technical properties, speed and mobility, which any other types of building do not offer. The northern countries lead the principle of "Kindergarten towards children" and for example in Norway is rented 90% of all kindergartens. Due to the temporary location of kindergartens, building offices do not protract and complicate the building control. Educational facilities can you also build of low-energy modules, where you will get in addition to the advantages of modular buildings an extra added value in low-energy buildings that save operating costs in terms of saving energy on heating. Our company has introduced a low-energy module M3 and a low-energy building in the International Building Fair CONECO 2010 in Bratislava, where was awarded the Golden Plaque award. In the International Building Fair in Brno, the IBF 2010, our company gained in the competition for the Gold Medal a Honorable Mention for low-energy modular building.

School in Sint Niklaas 08/2011
Koma with it´s partner on Belgish market Jan Snel Belgium has delivered another school, this time to town of Sint Niklaas. This school was an extension to already standing modular school delivered earlier. After cladding with trespa plates, the building gets an outlook of permanent building. Authorities of Sint Niklaas used one of the advantages of modular buildings, which means possibility to extend the space in case of increasing of number of students. {{% filmstrip (self) %}}... more here

Kindergarten in Ořešín 1.9.2011
The KOMA MODULAR CONSTRUCTION help to solve the problem of placing children into kindergarten. During a short time we built a kindergarten from modules. In Ořešín, village near Brno, a lot of houses were build up recently and so the need for kindergarten became. Modular kindergarten in Jihlava 30.08.2010
{{% video (self) %}} A modular kindergarten with a standard construction properties was inaugurated in Jihlava. On 1 September, 2010 was entered the modular kindergarten in Jihlava. The building has two floors and four classrooms for 100 children. Each classroom is colour-coded, including social facilities for children. Each classroom has separate meal servery. Food is transported to the first floor with dumb-waiter. One part of building sheating is solved by the high-quality wooden tiles and second part by colored plaster with children's themes. Unique modular additional building of kindergarten in Staňkov has helped to dozens of parents
A new modular additional building of kindergarten in Staňkov is the only building of its kind in the Pilsner Region. After the people from Staňkov had found out, that their kindergarten would had to refuse nearly three dozens children for the lack of capacity, they decided to build this new kindergarten. "Twenty-two refused children were from Staňkov and it was already a serious problem," said City´s Mayor Alexandr Horák. Primary school, L´Aquila, IT 09/2009, Schools
In September 2009, we delivered two-classes school for the Italian city L'Aquila, which was destroyed by a devastating earthquake. The interesting thing is that the school was produced, imported to Italy and assembled in seven weeks. The first contact with customer was in late July and since September 21, when the Italian school year began, the school has served its purpose. The school was funded by the Italian government funds, so the emphasis was put on compliance with all fire and health requirements to establish eligibility for the production, including all material certificates.
